Designed in Hong Kong, Made in China

Little Snug Bug began in Hong Kong, a city that has literally everything you need to bring an idea to life. Garment manufacturing has deep roots here; I can still find mini fabric markets tucked away, filled with talented experts who are generous with their knowledge. During a difficult bottleneck in the pattern-making stage, I was so grateful to connect with a local sample development team (my heartfelt thanks to Master Jenny, May and Brian) that helped me enormously in refining my prototypes. The city’s location also made it easy to branch out and explore further; I even visited fabric markets in Bangkok, Guangzhou, and Dongguan. I am proud to say that Hong Kong is where my brand started.
Dongguan, China, has long been a trusted global hub for garment manufacturing. After months of searching for the right manufacturer, I found one based in Dongguan with a Hong Kong office, and I went to visit the factory myself.
Through meetings with the design team and pattern makers, that led by a Hong Kong manager, I found them to be patient and responsible to meet my needs. Although my design was new to the market and somewhat complicated, and my background in interior design meant my sketches weren't in the typical fashion format, they guided me through it all. They even took me to the fabric market, where I saw firsthand how every material is carefully selected from reputable suppliers. Truthfully, things couldn't even have gotten started without Eddie, Master Li, Master Cao, Xana and Ting.
And no, it is not a sweatshop. Employees work from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a 1.5-hour lunch break that includes nap time. I even had lunch with the team and witnessed the entire office and factory switch off the lights right on schedule.

No child labor. Smoke-free workspace. Ethically run.
That is why "Designed in Hong Kong, Made in China" here means responsibly made, with quality you can trust.
