Sustainability ?

I used to think 100% cotton was the perfect answer for maternity clothing.

But then I noticed the trade-offs: shrinkage, wrinkling, limited stretch. And anti-wrinkle finishes often involve chemicals or costly knitting techniques.

A fabric that holds up wash after wash is just as important as what it's made of. Look at my closet: the wrinkled cotton tops sit untouched, while the easy-care ones get worn again and again. I haven't touched the iron once since my son was born.

So my products aren't just 100% cotton. More fabric choices are made with comfort and durability in mind, because a top that survives a hundred washes and still gets worn is less wasteful than one that doesn't.

As a city girl, I'm not comfortable claiming to "protect the environment." My lifestyle is nowhere near that. But I am trying a harmless approach.
